Magazines and Catalogs
About
Reusable magazines can be donated to hospitals, doctors’ offices, senior citizens’ homes, schools, daycares or barbershops. Magazines and catalogues can also be recycled through your municipal curbside recycling program or recycling depot as mixed waste paper. Before you recycle your holiday gift catalogs, take a minute to pick out the ones you don't want to receive anymore. Call their toll-free numbers and ask to be removed from their mailing list. Have a look at the Junk Mail section of this guide to see how you can have your name removed from Direct Mail marketers.
