Cleaning products are not included in the province-wide household hazardous waste recycling program. The best option is to use up the products or find someone else who can. Often there are community organizations that accept left-over reusable products. If reuse is not an option, contact the RCBC Recycling Hotline for alternative disposal methods.

If you want to save money and the environment, you can mix many of your own cleaners from simple ingredients like vinegar and baking soda. Alternatively, environmentally friendly cleaners are also available at several local stores.
