Large appliances, such as dishwashers, refrigerators and washing machines, that are not worth repairing can be recycled at local transfer stations and landfills. BC Hydro customers with working refrigerators may qualify for the BC Hydro Fridge Buy-Back Program. BC Hydro provides a free pick-up and applies a $30 rebate to your hydro bill.

Charitable organizations/thrift stores may accept large appliances in working condition. Contact the RCBC Recycling Hotline for a list of charitable organizations and don't forget to list your large appliances on Langley Reuses.
