Shopping at second hand clothing stores is a great way to save money. For the price, well-made used clothing is a bargain! Clothing you no longer need can be sold on consignment at a number of local stores, or donated to any of several charities. Clothes you donate should be clean, and since space is usually limited, it s best to give clothes that are in season. Make sure to call ahead since different locations accept different types of clothing. Some specific local options for donations include Crowded Closet, Goodwill, and the Salvation Army.
